How International Recruitment Works: A 6-Step Process

The End-to-End Recruitment Process

International manpower recruitment is a regulated, multi-step process that involves coordination between employers, government agencies and licensed recruiters across two or more countries. Here’s how it works at Romania Manpower.

Step 1: Workforce Planning & Job Order

The employer defines the roles, quantities, qualifications and timeline. We create a detailed Job Order specifying trade requirements, salary, accommodation arrangements and contract duration. This document drives the entire process.

Step 2: Candidate Sourcing & Screening

Our recruitment centres in India screen candidates through:

  • Skills testing (practical trade assessments)
  • Document verification
  • Medical pre-screening
  • Background and reference checks
  • Language assessment (basic English/Romanian)

Step 3: Client Selection

We present shortlisted candidates to the employer via video interview or in-person trade tests. The employer makes final selections. Acceptance rates typically exceed 85%.

Step 4: Documentation & Legal Processing

We handle all paperwork simultaneously:

  • Work authorisation application to IGI
  • Visa application coordination
  • Document apostille and translation
  • Medical examinations
  • Pre-departure orientation

Step 5: Travel & Deployment

We arrange flights, airport pickup and transport to the worksite or accommodation. Workers receive a welcome kit with local SIM card, emergency contacts and city orientation guide.

Step 6: Onboarding & Ongoing Support

Post-arrival support includes TRC application assistance, bank account setup, and a 90-day check-in programme. We remain the point of contact for both employer and worker throughout the contract period.
