We are hiring experienced Welders to join our industrial execution team for high-precision welding and fabrication projects in Romania. The role focuses exclusively on joining metal components using various welding techniques, reading technical blueprints, and ensuring structural integrity in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects according to Romanian standards and international welding codes (ISO/ASME).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welding operations (MIG, TIG, or ARC) on structural steel, pipes, and other metal components.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols to determine the required welding sequence and methods.
  • Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, and beveling to ensure proper weld penetration and strength.
  • Monitor welding equipment and adjust voltage, amperage, and gas flow according to material thickness and type.
  • Inspect finished welds for defects (cracks, porosity, or undercut) and perform necessary repairs to meet quality standards.
  • Ensure safe welding practices, including the proper use of PPE (welding shields, gloves) and adherence to fire safety protocols.

Welding Processes & Scope

  • MIG/MAG Welding (GMAW): High-speed production welding on structural steel and heavy machinery components.
  • TIG Welding (GTAW): Precision welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and thin-gauge materials for specialized industrial use.
  • ARC/Stick Welding (SMAW): Heavy-duty structural welding and on-site repair work in various environmental conditions.
  • Quality Inspection: Proficiency in visual inspection and understanding of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • ITI Certificate in Welder Trade or equivalent vocational training – highly appreciated.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial welding; 4G/6G certification will be a significant advantage.
  • Excellent ability to read and follow technical drawings, isometric sketches, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  • Strong knowledge of metal properties, filler materials, and safe industrial welding practices.

Physical & Other Requirements

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for long shifts.
  • Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Romania.
  • Basic English communication skills.
