We are hiring experienced CNC Milling Operators to join our high-precision manufacturing team for the production of complex metal components in Romania. The role focuses exclusively on the setup and operation of CNC Milling machines, utilizing G-codes and M-codes, selecting appropriate carbide tooling, and maintaining tight tolerances according to Romanian industrial standards and international quality codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate 3-axis and 4-axis CNC Milling machines to produce precision parts.
  • Load and verify CNC programs, perform tool offsets, and adjust machine settings for optimal production.
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools (End mills, drills, inserts) based on material and program requirements.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM specifications to ensure accurate machining sequences.
  • Perform quality checks using precision instruments to ensure parts meet micron-level tolerances.
  • Monitor machine performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and continuous operation.

CNC Machining Systems & Scope

  • Controller Operations: Proficient use of Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain control systems.
  • Technical Programming: Basic understanding of G-code and M-code editing and optimization.
  • Material Expertise: Machining of various industrial materials including High-Grade Steel, Aluminum, and Special Alloys.
  • Precision Quality Control: Expert use of Digital Micrometers, Bore Gauges, CMM reports, and Profile Projectors.

Qualifications & Skills

  • ITI Certificate in Machinist Trade, CNC Programming, or equivalent vocational training – highly appreciated.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in CNC Milling operations within a high-precision engineering environment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and safe industrial machining practices.

Physical & Other Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long durations and maintain focus in a production environment.
  • Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Romania.
  • Basic English communication skills.
