Industrial Electrician – LV & ELV Wiring and Installation

About the role

Experienced Industrial Electrician needed for LV and ELV wiring and installation across commercial, industrial, and residential projects in Romania. 2-year contract with extension, accommodation and food provided by employer.

Job Summary

We are hiring experienced electrical technicians from India to join our execution team for wiring and installation of Low Voltage (LV) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The role focuses exclusively on physical installation, cable routing, cable tray installation, and termination according to Romanian standards and international electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and align cable trays, cable ladders, conduits, and trunking according to design specifications.
• Pull, route, and terminate LV and ELV cables.
• Install electrical panels, junction boxes, sockets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Mount and connect ELV devices such as CCTV cameras, access control units, and fire alarm components.
• Ensure neat and safe wiring practices according to drawings and specifications.

Low Voltage (LV) Systems to Install

• Power Distribution: Main Distribution Boards (MDB), Sub Distribution Boards (SDB), circuit breakers.
• Lighting Systems: Indoor/outdoor lighting, emergency lighting.
• Socket Outlets & Small Power: General power outlets for appliances and equipment.
• Earthing & Bonding: Grounding systems for electrical safety.

Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems to Install

• Structured Cabling: Data and voice networks (CAT6, fibre optics).
• CCTV & Security Systems: Cameras, access control devices.
• Fire Detection & Alarm Systems: Detectors, alarm panels, cabling.
• Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA): Speakers, amplifiers, cabling.
• Building Management Systems (BMS): Sensors, controllers, cabling.
• Intercom & Video Door Entry Systems: Intruder Alarm Systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI Certificate in Electrical Trade or equivalent vocational training in electrical work – highly appreciated.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in LV and ELV wiring and installation, including cable tray installation.
• Ability to read and follow electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of safe installation practices and compliance with electrical standards.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and confined spaces.
• Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Romania.
• Basic English communication skills.
