Established hotels, resorts and restaurants in Bucharest and Brașov, Romania are seeking waiters and stewards for front-of-house service.
What you'll do
- Welcome and seat guests, present menus and take orders
- Serve food and beverages with proper etiquette

- Process payments and manage table billing
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations

Key Responsibilities

Interpret menu manuals, technical service instructions, and table layouts to determine the required service specifications.

Serve food and beverages precisely using professional hospitality techniques and equipment.

Mix basic beverages and coordinate with the bar team to maintain the correct consistency according to order types and guest requirements.

Check quality and presentation of table setups using precision and aesthetic standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Perform dining area preparation tasks, including polishing cutlery, setting glassware, and organizing station profiles using professional tools.

Execute basic cleaning and finishing tasks on service surfaces to prepare them for the next dining shift.

Maintain workplace cleanliness and strictly follow food safety protocols (HACCP) to prevent accidents and ensure service quality.
Hospitality Operations & Scope

F&B Service: Professional table service for international, continental, and local dining operations.

Guest Management: High-speed and precise handling of guest orders for large-scale hotel dining rooms.

Station Setup: Assisting in the setup of guide lines, inventory profiles, and POS systems for daily activities.

Tool Handling: Expert use of digital ordering tablets, tray handling techniques, and precision service instruments.
Qualifications & Skills

Relevant Vocational Training or Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management – highly appreciated.

Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as a Waiter or Steward in professional hotels or restaurants.

Strong ability to read and follow technical menu layouts, wine lists, and food safety charts.

Hands-on experience with various service methods, guest handling protocols, and structural dining techniques.

Basic English communication skills to coordinate with the site supervision and service team.
Physical & Other Requirements

High physical stamina for manual labor, including standing for long hours and moving quickly in busy dining environments.

Ability to maintain focus and precision during fast-paced service and repetitive guest coordination tasks.

Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Romania for a long-term seasonal or permanent contract.
