What you'll do

  • Wash and sanitise all dishes, cookware, cutlery and kitchen equipment

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret hygiene manuals, site instructions, and sanitation patterns to determine the required cleaning specifications.

  • Wash and sanitize kitchenware, dishes, and industrial equipment precisely using specialized machines and chemicals.

  • Mix cleaning agents and detergents to the correct consistency according to surface types and safety requirements.

  • Check cleanliness and alignment of stored kitchen tools using precision and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment.

  • Perform kitchen preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and basic cutting of raw materials using power tools or hand tools.

  • Execute basic station-cleaning and finishing tasks on kitchen surfaces to prepare them for the next service shift.

  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and strictly follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure structural hygiene quality.

Kitchen Operations & Scope

  • Sanitization Operations: High-speed washing and sanitization of kitchenware for large-scale hotel dining.

  • Production Support: Assisting cooks in the setup of guide lines, ingredient profiles, and prep-stations.

  • Utility Maintenance: Assisting in the organization of inventory, site storage, and waste management activities.

  • Equipment Handling: Expert use of industrial dishwashers, pressure washers, scrubbers, and leveling instruments for hygiene.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant Vocational Training or practical experience in Hospitality/Catering – highly appreciated.

  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as a Kitchen Assistant or Dishwasher in hotels or industrial kitchens.

  • Strong ability to read and follow hygiene charts, safety technical manuals, and site instructions.

  • Hands-on experience with various cleaning methods, chemical bonding patterns, and structural sanitation techniques.

  • Basic English communication skills to coordinate with the site supervision and culinary team.

Physical & Other Requirements

  • High physical stamina for manual labor, including standing for long hours and working in wet/hot kitchen conditions.

  • Ability to maintain focus and precision during repetitive cleaning tasks and fast-paced service levels.

  • Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Romania for a long-term contract.
