About the role
Nordbau GmbH is expanding its structural-steel division and urgently requires certified MIG/TIG welders for commercial and infrastructure projects across Munich and Bavaria. You will work on multi-storey steel frames, bridges, and industrial facilities alongside experienced German and international crews.
What you'll do
- Perform MIG/TIG welding on structural steel components per DIN/EN standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols and blueprints
- Carry out pre- and post-weld inspections and surface preparation
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure safe workshop practices
- Collaborate with foremen and quality inspectors on-site
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of certified MIG/TIG welding experience
- Valid international welding certificate (IIW/EWF or equivalent)
- Physically fit for heavy structural work at height
- Basic English or German language skills
