We are hiring experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our industrial execution team for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment in Romania. The role focuses on ensuring the continuous operation of production lines, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing mechanical failures in commercial and industrial projects according to Romanian standards and international safety codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical faults and breakdowns to minimize site downtime.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components such as motors, pumps, and conveyors.
- Inspect and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring all seals and valves are functioning correctly.
- Perform precision alignment and lubrication of moving parts according to technical manuals.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, following strict EU industrial safety regulations and site standards.
Industrial Maintenance Scope & Tasks
- Preventive Maintenance: Scheduled servicing of plant machinery, gearboxes, and transmission systems.
- Fluid Power Systems: Maintenance and repair of hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and pneumatic actuators.
- Assembly & Fitting: Replacing worn-out bearings, belts, pulleys, and mechanical seals.
- Diagnostic Tools: Use of vibration analyzers, thermometers, and precision measuring tools for condition monitoring.
Qualifications & Skills
- ITI Certificate in Mechanical Maintenance, Fitter Trade, or equivalent vocational training – highly appreciated.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or factory equipment repair.
- Ability to read and follow mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and lubrication charts.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, power transmission, and safe industrial practices.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Romania.
- Basic English communication skills.
